Troop 179 will be collecting Canned food items at the Troop Meeting on October 29 as well as at the Emergency Preparedness Camp on November 1, 2, & 3, 2024.

Troop 179's biggest contribution is that we are the host Troop for the Weingartz Farmington Collection Site. As units come up we will take what they collected and sort it into boxes that then get loaded into the Food Banks trucks.

Registration is online and you can choose to be there 9:00 - 12:00 | 11:00 - 2:00 | 2:00 - 5:00 | 9:00 - 5:00 (the whole shebang). Each Scout that attends will receive a commutative patch as well as record Service Hours for their time spent doing it.
