Transferring BSA Membership to Troop 179

Troop/Crew 179 can transfer any youth member. We need Full Name, Birth Date, Membership Number and the current Unit Number.

Parents can also transfer their youth or adult memberships by using your my.scouting.org account then go to the “My Application” tab in the Menu. You can transfer yourself as an adult volunteer or your youth member from unit to unit (when doing this search for 0179). This will create a transfer application which will be sent to Troop/Crew 179 with the ability to be approved in “Application Manager”. Transfers will take 48 hours to sync with the new unit.
