High adventure is a type of outdoor experience. It typically is meant to include activities like backpacking, hiking, kayaking or canoeing. It may also include mountaineering, hunting, fishing, sky ropes (C.O.P.E.), horse cavalcading, scuba, cave exploring, sailing, rock climbing/rappelling, mountain biking, whitewater rafting, survival, skiing, orienteering, winter camping and wherever your imagination takes you.

The thrill of our High Adventure runs far and wide across America and nobody in the world is better at sharing those experiences than the Scouts. Nobody.

Nobody offers more exhilarating or a wider variety of high adventure for young people than the Boy Scouts of America. Through high adventure experiences, The Boy Scouts of America leaves lasting memories with youth and fosters development in character and leadership.
