Dear Cub Scouts:

In 2024 we've included all Cub Scouts! With all the exciting changes in the Cub Scout Program we are inviting all Cub Scouts to our 2024 Cub Scout Field Day!

For 35 years Troop 179 has hosted Webelosfest, a well known and respected Ottawa District Activity. This year we are expanding to include all Cub Scouts from Lions to AOLs! The date is October 4, 5, and 6, 2024. This year we are very excited to announce that we will be at Multi Lakes Conservation Club located at 3860 Newton Road, Commerce Twp, Michigan. If you are coming for the weekend you should plan your arrival on Friday night no earlier than 7:00 pm. This is to enable us to set-up the camp prior to your arrival. If you are coming for Saturday only, you should plan on arriving around 8:00 am, so that you can check-in prior to the start of activities at 9:00.

Your host for the weekend will be Assistant Scoutmaster Rachael Ayotte. She is available to answer your questions about the Cub Scout Field Day or the Scouts BSA program. Rachael can be reached at letsgocamping@att.net. Rachael is also our Membership Chair and is available to work with you throughout the year for visits to our meetings, cross-overs, Den Chiefs, or any other questions you may have about our troop.
