Dear Cub Scouts:

In 2026 Troop 179 celebrates 60 years of serving youth, and we're so excited to throw a birthday party—and you're invited! Join us at CUB-FEST 2026 for a weekend of fun, adventure, and Scouting.

For 38 years Troop 179 has hosted Webelosfest. Today, CUB-FEST welcomes every Cub Scout—from Lions through Arrow of Light Scouts—to experience Scouting skills taught by Scouts and Venturers ages 11–21.

CUB-FEST takes place October 9–11, 2026 at Multi Lakes Conservation Club, 3860 Newton Road, Commerce Township, Michigan. Weekend campers should arrive Friday after 7:00 PM. Saturday participants should arrive by 8:00 AM for check-in.

Assistant Scoutmaster Rachael Ayotte will be your host for the weekend and can answer questions about CUB-FEST, Troop 179, or the Scouts BSA program.
